Frequently Asked Questions
What is CAASPP?
CAASPP stands for California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress. It is California's statewide standardized test for students in grades 3–8 and 11, covering English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Scores are reported on a scale and sorted into four performance levels.
Do I need an account to take a test?
No account is needed for the free 6-question preview. However, you need a free account to purchase and save full tests to your progress dashboard.
How are the scale scores calculated?
Our scale scores use the official CAASPP performance level cutoffs for each grade and subject. We apply a difficulty-weighted scoring formula, then map your result to the official 4-level performance scale (Standard Not Met through Standard Exceeded).
Are the questions similar to the real CAASPP?
Yes. Questions are written to the same California Common Core Standards and Smarter Balanced (SBAC) frameworks as the real CAASPP. We cover the same domains, difficulty range, and question styles.
Is this suitable for grades 9, 10, and 12?
CAASPP officially tests grades 3–8 and 11. For grades 9, 10, and 12, we offer standards-aligned practice at grade-appropriate difficulty levels so students continue building skills.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards are accepted via Stripe, a secure and widely trusted payment processor. We never store your card details.
